New Tradition is an Amsterdam studio for architecture and interior design. In our online shop we sell a curated selection of interior objects.
What makes your collection special?
Every piece is personally selected by our interior design studio: our own New Tradition designs alongside pieces from European design labels. Looking for something specific? Get in touch.
Where do you deliver and what does shipping cost?
We ship within the Netherlands with PostNL Track & Trace: €6.95 for parcels up to 10 kg and €17.45 for 10–23 kg. Orders above €300 ship for free within the Netherlands (standard size products). Shipping to Belgium costs from €12.25 (0–2 kg) to €34.25 (10–20 kg).
How long does delivery take?
In-stock items are shipped within 1 working day after payment. Is an item sold out? Sign up on the product page via ‘Notify me when available’, or ask us when it will be back in stock.
Can furniture be delivered?
No. Furniture and large items can only be collected from our studio at Tweede Sweelinckstraat 2 hs, 1073 EH Amsterdam, by appointment. Choose 'Pickup' at checkout; we will let you know when your order is ready.
Can I change the size of a custom-made piece?
For several custom-made pieces, such as mirrors and tables, the dimensions can be adjusted. Please get in touch before ordering.
How can I pay?
You can pay with iDEAL | Wero, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and Klarna.
Can I return an item?
Yes, within 14 days of delivery. First let us know by email at hello@new-tradition.shop, then send the item in its original packaging with the labels attached to Tweede Sweelinckstraat 2 hs, 1073 EH Amsterdam. Return shipping costs are for your own account. We refund within 10 days after receiving the return. Custom-made and personalised items cannot be returned.
My order arrived damaged. What now?
Please report damage within 48 hours of receipt by email, including photos of the package and the item. We will take care of it with the carrier.
